Don’t worry about anything. No matter what happens, tell God about everything.

Ask and pray, and give thanks to him.

Then God’s peace will watch over your hearts and your minds.

He will do this because you belong to Christ Jesus.

God’s peace can never be completely understood.

Philippians 4:6-7 NIrV

There is a song out by Elevation Worship that says, “I’m not enough, unless you come. Will you meet me here again?” (Elevation Worship, “Here Again”) When I first heard this song, I just wept, because it’s really where I am. I get a problem in front of me and I try to take it over. I try to solve it myself, when that is not what God called me to do. He wants to do everything with me. I can’t be the person God created me to be without Him. The minute I take God out of my situations and try to take over, it doesn't work, or it might work for a second and then it falls apart. God created us to need Him, to be in relationship with Him.

Where are you in your life? What are you trying to do on your own? Are you trying to go to work on your own? I know that is a silly question because we do go to work by ourselves, but have you brought God into work with you? Pray and talk to God. Ask Him to help your attitude, peacefulness, and relationships at work.

Are you trying to do relationships (dating, friendships, engagement, or marriage) on your own? Ask God to bring you people who love Him and would love to do life with you. Marriage is hard, and doing it on your own is not good. God wants to be in the middle of your marriage. He wants to help you love the spouse He gave to you. God wants you to put Him first before others, so you can love your spouse and others well.

Are you trying to parent on your own? I am here to tell you, it doesn't work. You need His guidance on how to take care of the child He chose you to raise. He will help you. He will give you peace in the middle of an argument or frustration. He will open your eyes to things you need to see. He will remind you what a precious, precious gift they are.

Are you in a season of waiting and you feel like God has forgotten about you? He hasn’t…He is right there with you. Keep Him in the middle of everything.

You aren't enough without God. He is the only thing that gets us through life, because He created us to be who we are. Praying for you this week, that you constantly are in conversation with God.
