How much do you love God? How do you show your love to Him? Do you thank Him? Do you worship Him? I’ve was thinking about these questions while I listened to a sermon by Pastor Michael Todd on worship. He defined the word worship. This is the Google definition: the feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity.

If you stopped and looked at your life and all the things God has done for you, you would want to worship Him. Not just in the worship set at church but ALL the time. We often forget and get caught up in the world or we want to please people, so we don’t truly worship OUR SAVIOR, JESUS. I have fallen into this lately. I love God, I am amazed by Him, but I forget to worship Him by thanking Him and being in awe of Him daily for what He has done for me.

God became the most PERFECT Father for me. He doesn’t forget about me. He thinks about me every day and knows all my fears, worries, and joys. He sent His son to die on the cross to take my sins without any questions, just because He loves me. Here is the most amazing thing…God did the same for you! He has enough love for YOU and for all His children no matter where they are in life. You don’t have to be perfect, your life doesn’t have to sinless…He wants you just where you are. This is why we need to WORSHIP Him no matter what, because He deserves ALL of our praise.

Today, take a minute to thank God for all He has done for you. Look outside and see the beauty He has put before you, even if it is muddy and raining. Thank Him for it because He is worthy of our love and praise.

Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heaven!

Praise him for his mighty works; praise his unequaled greatness!

Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn; praise him with the lyre and harp!

Praise him with the tambourine and dancing; praise him with strings and flutes!

Praise him with a clash of cymbals; praise him with loud clanging cymbals

Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord!
