Heaven Invading Earth
Take 2-3 minutes to quiet yourself and ask God to speak to you today through your devotional time.
Reading: Matthew 6:9–13; Revelation 21:1–5

After reading the passage, take the next 5-10 minutes and spend time reflecting on what you read. You can write these things down in a journal or record them in your phone. Be attentive to both what you highlighted in the passage and what is going on in your life.
God’s ultimate plan is not escape from earth but renewal of it. Heaven is not just a future destination—it’s a present mission. Every act of obedience, love, justice, and compassion becomes a glimpse of what’s coming. You are an ambassador of heaven, carrying God’s presence into broken places. One day, all things will be made new. Until then, God invites you to live as a preview of that future. When you bring hope, truth, and love into the world, heaven invades earth through you.
What would it look like for me to live today as an ambassador of God’s kingdom?

Now, take 10 minutes to seek God in prayer…
- Begin your time in prayer by taking 1-3 minutes to sit in silence (You can take longer if you sense the Spirit already beginning to speak to you).
- Pray through the things you sensed God speaking to you through the Scriptures or pray the following prayer: Pray, “God, let Your kingdom come through my life today. Use me to reflect heaven on earth.”
- Close by taking 5 minutes to sit in silence, asking God if there is anything else He wants to speak to you today.
Take Action:
- Look for one opportunity today to bring hope or encouragement to someone.
- End the day by reflecting on where you saw God’s kingdom at work through you.
