Summer Internship Overview
Summer Internships are a 10-week intensive designed to teach skills and give hands on leadership experience. Ministry Departments will create Internship Positions that will be project-based in task. Internship Applicants will apply for specific Internship Positions in which they will be either accepted, rejected, or moved into a different position as the Internship Committee sees fit.

*We realize that 20 hours onsite does not work for everyone. We are open to discussing atypical options for interested candidates whose work/school life does not allow for 20 hours onsite.

- Weekly Movement Services:
- Assist in the planning, preparation, and execution of weekly Movement services, including worship, teaching, and creative elements.
- Support setup, game prep, and any other needs for services.
- Collaborate with the youth team to brainstorm ideas that engage students and foster faith and community.
- Summer Camp Planning & Execution:
- Work closely with the Youth Director to organize all aspects of summer camp, including logistics, activities, and programming.
- Prepare materials, schedules, and communications for camp.
- Be an active leader during camp (June 2-6), building relationships and fostering a positive experience for students and leaders.
- Volunteer Development:
- Invest in and build relationships with adult & student leaders, encouraging their growth and commitment to the ministry.
- Assist in training and equipping adult leaders for their roles in small groups, events, and services.
- Provide support and feedback to help leaders thrive in their roles.
- Public Speaking & Communication:
- Develop public speaking skills by preparing and delivering teachings or emceeing during services or events.
- Participate in coaching sessions with the Youth Director to refine communication and teaching abilities.
- Administrative & Organizational Tasks:
- Use Planning Center to create service schedules, assign roles, and manage event logistics.
- Assist with communication, including emails, social media, and promotional materials for events.
- Organize and maintain ministry resources and supplies as needed.
- Student Discipleship & Mentorship:
- Engage with students by attending events, small groups, and other activities.
- Build intentional relationships with students, encouraging their spiritual growth and connection to the ministry.
- Provide support to adult small group leaders in fostering meaningful discussions and connections.
- Leadership Development:
- Take ownership of specific ministry tasks or events with guidance from the Youth Director.
- Participate in leadership training sessions to grow personally and professionally.
- Work collaboratively with the Student Leadership Team to mentor and equip student leaders.
Hospitality Internship

Residency Program
The Tree Church Residency program is a 1-year intensive for those who are seriously exploring a call to full-time ministry and is designed to prepare the next generation of ministry leaders for success in life, leadership, and ministry. Residents will get to experience this through being fully involved in ministry at the local church level. Residency is a part-time position designed to equip you in a specific area of ministry for This position will require the resident to operate at a staff capacity with a purposed mentoring oversight and continued education.
