Peace Through Prayer

Philippians 4:6-9 (NIV)
 
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
 
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

 
 
Reflection 
 
Take a notebook and pen, and pray over the following questions. Write what you hear from God.  
 
  1. Write down your personal definition of worry. How do you specifically worry?
  2. Now, reflect on what God’s peace means. Do you believe His peace can be obtained.
  3. Worrying means you aren’t trusting God. Doodle when contemplating John 14:1. Save your doodle as a bookmark and refer to it often. God wants you to have true peace. Pray over everything! Put Him first in all you do, from brushing your teeth to buying a house, and you will see He has been providing for you all along.
