When God Doesn't Meet Your Expectations
by Tree Church Everyday on June 4th, 2026
Life rarely unfolds as we expect. Prayers go unanswered, loved ones suffer, dreams die. In these moments, we face a choice: deconstruct our faith or reconstruct our understanding of God. Job demanded answers for his suffering; God responded by revealing His incomprehensible power and wisdom. Sometimes God's answer to "Why?" is simply "Trust Me—I'm God and you're not." This isn't cruel; it's an invitation to worship a God bigger than our circumstances. Habakkuk chose worship even when nothing made sense: "Though the fig tree does not bud...yet I will rejoice in the Lord." God's love isn't measured by comfortable circumstances but by the cross. When expectations crumble, cling to what's certain: His character, His promises, His presence.  Read More

Faith Built Through Relationship
by Tree Church Everyday on June 2nd, 2026
Faith isn't blind trust—it's confidence built through relationship. Like Thomas, we sometimes need to see before we believe, but Jesus graciously meets us in our doubt. Each time God proves faithful in small things, our trust deepens for bigger challenges. Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen—not wishful thinking, but firm confidence rooted in God's proven character. Think of faith as stepping stones across a river: the first step feels risky, but each stone you land on gives courage for the next. Jesus invites you to take one step today, promising to meet you there. What faithful step is He calling you toward? Trust His track record, not your feelings.  Read More

The God Beyond Our Understanding
by Tree Church Everyday on June 1st, 2026
We often construct a version of God that fits comfortably within our expectations—a deity who operates according to our logic and timing. But the Creator who spoke galaxies into existence transcends our finite understanding. His ways are not our ways; His thoughts tower above ours like the heavens above the earth. This isn't a limitation on our faith—it's an invitation to trust Someone infinitely wiser than ourselves. When life doesn't make sense, remember: the God who orchestrated the intricate dance of planets, seasons, and ecosystems is orchestrating your story too. You don't need to understand everything; you need to trust the One who does. Surrender your need for comprehension and embrace the mystery of His wisdom.  Read More

The Way, The Truth, The Life
by Tree Church Everyday on May 12th, 2026
Thomas's honest confusion reveals our own: "How can we know the way?" Jesus' response is stunningly clear—He doesn't merely show the way; He is the way. This exclusivity isn't arrogance but reality. When Jesus claims to be the only path to the Father, He's revealing that relationship with God isn't achieved through religious systems, moral effort, or spiritual exploration. It's found in a Person. The narrow gate isn't restrictive; it's protective. God prepared a place for you and provided the only bridge to reach it. Today, examine whether you're trusting Jesus as the way, or simply acknowledging Him as a way among many. Exclusive trust leads to exclusive peace.  Read More

Trusting When You Don't Understand
by Tree Church Everyday on May 8th, 2026
Our world is broken. Sin's wages are death, but God's gift is eternal life through Jesus Christ. This is the big picture: Creation, Fall, Redemption, Restoration. At the cross, we see both God's justice against sin and His mercy toward sinners—mysteries that our finite minds cannot fully reconcile. You may encounter passages that confuse or frustrate you. You might not understand every detail of God's ways or your own experiences. But you can trust the God who loved you enough to die for you. Progressive revelation means God unfolds His truth over time, with Jesus as the ultimate clarity. Today, surrender your need to understand everything. Instead, fix your eyes on the cross—where God's character is most clearly displayed.  Read More

Hope Beyond Understanding
by Tree Church Everyday on May 1st, 2026
God cannot always make sense to us because His perspective is eternal. He sees the entire story while we see only one page. This reality requires trust, not complete understanding. The disciples trusted Jesus into death because the resurrection gave them hope beyond this life. They suffered the loss of all things because they knew Jesus would give them something immeasurably better. Your faith will only thrive when it's anchored in eternal hope, not temporary comfort. God's purpose isn't merely our happiness but our holiness and His glory across generations. Trust begins at the cross and deepens through relationship. Engage Jesus in your suffering. Ask Him to meet you there. He will, because He's already been there Himself.  Read More

Denying Self to Find Life
by Tree Church Everyday on March 16th, 2026
Jesus' invitation to "deny yourself" sounds counterintuitive in our self-focused culture. Yet this denial isn't about self-hatred—it's about releasing the illusion of control. When we cling to our own plans, preferences, and desires as ultimate, we miss the abundant life Christ offers. Denying yourself means acknowledging that God knows you better than you know yourself, loves you more than you love yourself, and has wisdom beyond your understanding. Today, identify one area where you're holding tightly to control. What would it look like to surrender that to Jesus? Remember, the cross wasn't about weakness—it was about trusting the Father's plan completely. True life begins when we stop trying to save ourselves.  Read More

Return to Me
by Tree Church Everyday on February 25th, 2026
God’s invitation is relational, not transactional: “Return to me.” The tithe isn’t about meeting God’s needs—it’s about aligning our hearts with His lordship. Giving is one of the clearest expressions of trust and obedience. God uniquely invites His people to test Him here, not to manipulate Him, but to experience His faithfulness. When we honor Him first, we position ourselves to witness His provision and protection.  Read More

The Antidote to Anxiety
by Tree Church Everyday on February 24th, 2026
Jesus doesn’t shame anxiety—He redirects it. Worry reveals where we believe provision ultimately comes from. The antidote isn’t ignoring responsibility, but reordering priority. When God’s kingdom comes first, anxiety loses its power. Seeking the kingdom first is a declaration: God, I trust You more than my ability to provide for myself. This trust reshapes how we handle money, generosity, and future planning. Anxiety fades when we remember we are cared-for children, not self-sufficient providers.  Read More

Trusting God’s Provision
by Tree Church Everyday on February 5th, 2026
Trusting God’s provision is at the heart of generosity. Fear tells us there won’t be enough, but faith declares God is enough. Jesus calls us to seek His kingdom first, trusting that He will provide what we need. The Philippians experienced God’s faithfulness by giving sacrificially and watching Him supply abundantly.  Read More

Does God Hear Me?
by Corey Brown on September 5th, 2024
This week, we've explored how the privilege of prayer is greater than merely our requests of the Father. These asks are important, and He wants to hear them, but prayer is also an opportunity to step into communion with His presence, dependability, and trustworthiness.
