Make Disciples
Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV)
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Reflection
As you read through the scripture for today, take note of three key phrases:
Make disciples
Baptize them
Teach them
What are you doing to fulfill these commands from Jesus? Are you actively encouraging others to live for Jesus? Have you talked to someone about the importance of baptism for his/her spiritual life? Are you teaching others, by being a role model of how a Christian lives an obedient and faith-filled life?
Pray for God to strengthen your resolve to walk in faith, love and obedience, so you may be used by Him to bring others closer to Him.
