Worthy of the Gospel
Philippians 1:27 (ESV)
Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel
Reflection
Following Jesus is not difficult, but it does take some discipline to keep from falling back into our old habits. The following are a few questions to ask yourself:

Following Jesus is not difficult, but it does take some discipline to keep from falling back into our old habits. The following are a few questions to ask yourself:
- How do you conduct yourself when no one is watching? Do your actions (what you say and do) on Sunday mornings translate to who you are at work? Would your co-workers know you are a Christian without telling them? Is your reputation something to be emulated by others?
- As Christians, we must be united by standing firm in our faith. We can never be silent with sharing God’s word when it comes to showing others how to live like Jesus. How can you help to grow the Gospel?
- In what areas of your life have you become complacent when it comes to your faith?
