Every Good Gift
James 1:17 (NLT)
Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.
Reflection:
All the blessings we have in life are from our heavenly Father who loves us. He is faithful and good, and He never changes! Take a few minutes and think through these questions:
Spend some time listening to Hymn Medley by Maverick City, that turns our thoughts toward God. It contains some encouraging prayers that the musician speaks out during the song that I hope bring you peace.

- Is it easy or difficult to accept that God gives good gifts to His children and that He cares for you?
- Write down three times where God has been faithful to you. Spend some time remembering how He provided for you in each of these situations. If you can’t think of any examples, write down three things that you are anxious about, and, if you are willing, submit them to God. Invite Him into each situation. Then, when you think about those situations (because you will) and become anxious again, resubmit them to God. Even telling God out loud that you are giving Him your concerns is helpful.
